Rating: 10 Chair arrived on time. Cardboard packaging a bit battered but the contents were fine and undamaged. Found the instructions OK but as others have commented the arms were a bit fiddly. The answer I think is to run the bolts through the sockets in the seat and back before putting the arms on so that the threads are slightly looser. The seat is very comfortable and easy to use. I am a big bloke so I need the reinforced gas strut. Time will tell if this takes my weight. Excellent service from 121 Office Furniture.
Rating: 10 Cannot fault the customer service received. Communication was excellent and chair delivered on time. As previous reviewer, Daryll, stated the most fiddly part of assembling was the arms. Chair seems good quality, but only time will tell. Well pleased.
Rating: 10 (copy of Daryll's review of the Hudson in Black) Packaging initially looked to be inadequate, but on opening everything was infact all OK. Assembly instructions sheet enclosed is vague, however got there in the end. Lining up each armrest screw and insert was not easy, due to insert depth into the leather and recommend leaving all screws fairly loose until all are fitted, before final tightening. Do not use a power tool, as there is a risk of stripping the threads if screws are not aligned correctly. Once assembled the chair was found to be of good quality and is stable. It looks good, and remains comfortable after many hours of use. The mechanisms for reclining and tension all work well and locking seems possible in any recline position. Chose the Burgundy version, which I was pleased to find was a muted shade Very pleased.
